As we look forward to IDoP 2026 (Sunday, November 1st), feel free to continue sharing our IDoP video below, as well as praying for the countries we've highlighted. Christian persecution won't stop until Jesus comes again, so our prayers must never stop. We will update this page as we develop more resources to spread the word and open eyes about the Persecuted Church.

THANK YOU to all who prayed on November 2, 2025, for persecuted Christians around the world! Thank you to the churches who took time out of their Sunday services to show our IDoP 2025 video and prayed corporately for the hurting body of Christ.


Now let's keep on praying and standing with Christians who are being persecuted just for following Jesus -- throughout the year. If you'd like to receive monthly reminders of how to pray, sign up for our free monthly prayer letter here.


Sharing our video below will also help to open the eyes of those who aren't yet awake to the many ways Christians are persecuted today. Our prayer is that this movement of prayer will move us to be obedient to what God is calling us to do for persecuted Christians. Keep on praying! Thank you!

Praying for Persecuted Christians is vital... they need our prayers, and to know that they're not forgotten.


The International Day of Prayer is a perfect opportunity to corporately lift up our Brothers and Sisters in Christ so that they remain steadfast in their faith; that their faith will be strong because our great God is with them and sees them in their suffering.


Share this 2025 video with your church, organization, or small group to educate and inform others about persecuted Christians and how we can pray for them.

Does it make a difference when we pray? YES! God hears us and He's working through our prayers to accomplish His purpose for His persecuted children. It's the most powerful thing we can do to help the persecuted Church.

  • algeria

    Despite the government's ongoing closure of church buildings, our faithful partners are pressing forward with evangelism, discipleship, and house church planting. 


    Pray for protection over believers facing persecution and rejection from their Muslim families.

    Pray for essential equipment (computers, cell phones, etc.) for ongoing discipleship and follow-up.

    Pray that house churches continue to multiply and remain strong.

  • bangladesh

    We've recently begun supporting a group of churches in Bangladesh that are making great strides in an increasingly unstable government and rising Islamic extremism. Despite daily threats, Christians are reaching out to one another, encouraging each other, and maintaining prayer for one another. They see the persecution as a good thing because it is growing their faith.


    Pray for these churches and house groups to reach more people with the gospel.

    Pray for their protection, God's continued provision, and effective training in discipleship so this ministry can multiply.

  • egypt

    Our partners work primarily in Cairo, where Christians face persecution from Muslim neighbors and their own families. The influx of Sudanese and South Sudanese refugees is also a ministry God is bringing right to our partner who works hard to provide these refugees with clothing, housing, and medicine. 


    Pray for our partners - for protection, wisdom, energy, and to spread the joy that comes from serving God by serving those in need.

    Pray for justice for Believers who are often falsely accused, jailed, and tortured.

    Pray for the government to not treat Christians as a threat.

  • Jordan

    Prayer for Safety and Protection:

    Lord, we ask for Your protection over Christians in Jordan, shielding them from harm and granting them peace in their hearts.


    Prayer for Unity and Hope:

    Gracious God, inspire unity and hope among Christians in Jordan, helping them to support one another and shine Your light in their communities.

  • mauritania

    Our partner has helped establish 23 house churches and discipleship groups in Mauritania, and says the hunger for God's Word is growing, despite deep persecution. The unreached Pulaar people remain largely untouched by the gospel, yet the Lord is stirring hearts in miraculous ways.


    Pray for wisdom and courage for believers as they share Christ.

    Pray for grace to endure persecution and to reflect Christ's love.

    Pray for those forced to flee - for direction, provision, and safety.

    Pray for the Pulaar people, that the Gospel would take root and multiply.

  • morocco

    This Islamic government has recently begun targeting both local Christians and foreign missionaries in a wave of intense investigations. However, our partner here is seeing incredible fruit through social media campaigns.


    Pray for God's favor and blessing over all of the Christian ministries, both online and in-person.

    Pray for supernatural protection, wisdom, and endurance as the authorities continue trying to create challenges for those who serve there.

    Pray for discernment as they follow up with seekers and respond to their questions with clarity and grace.

    Pray for the Bible to reach everyone who wants one, in whatever language they need.

    Prayer for Strength and Faith:

    Heavenly Father, grant strength and unwavering faith to Christians in Senegal as they seek to live out their beliefs


    Prayer for Peace and Understanding:

    Lord, please bring peace and understanding among diverse communities in Senegal, fostering unity and respect.


    Prayer for Community and Support:

    Gracious God, help Christians in Senegal to form strong bonds of community, uplifting one another in love and encouragement.

  • Sudan and South Sudan

    Prayer for Strength and Perseverance:

    Heavenly Father, grant strength and perseverance to Christians in Sudan as they face adversity for their faith.


    Prayer for Protection and Hope:

    Lord, please protect Christians in Sudan and instill in them a deep sense of hope during difficult times.


    Prayer for Community and Support:

    Gracious God, help Christians in Sudan to build supportive communities that uplift one another in love and faith.

  • Syria

    Prayer for Strength and Resilience:

    Heavenly Father, please grant strength and resilience to our Christian brothers and sisters in Syria as they endure persecution and hardship.


    Prayer for Safety and Peace:

    Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over Christians in Syria, providing them with safety and peace in the midst of turmoil.


    Prayer for Hope and Community:

    Gracious God, instill hope in the hearts of Christians in Syria and unite them in faith, so they may find strength in each other during these challenging times.
