Pray that the love and joy they have for Christ will be apparent in all circumstances to those who are persecuting them (Acts 16:25)


Pray they will see that God’s grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in their weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9)


Pray for them to trust in God and not themselves (2 Corinthians 1:7-9)


Pray for them to proclaim the gospel fearlessly (Ephesians 6:19-20, Acts 20:24)  


Pray they maintain hope in their future glory and that they will remember that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ (Romans 8:18-39)


Pray for relief from their struggles and their safety (Romans 15:31-33)

Specific prayer:

Because of the war in Israel, pray for the Christians in the crossfire. While Israelis and Muslims speak of anger, hatred, and revenge, the Christians speak of God's love and peace.


Pray for extremist groups like Hamas, ISIS, Boko Haram in Nigeria, Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, al-Qa'ida in the Arabian Peninsula, Taliban in Pakistan and Al-shabaab in Somalia to name a few. Pray they turn to God, to Jesus Christ, His Son, to be saved from a future they will have no way to escape in the arms of Satan.


Pray for Syrian and Iraqi refugees scattered throughout the region as a result of previous ISIS incursions in the Middle East.


Pray for peoples of the world to come to know who Jesus Christ really is and commit themselves to Him.


Pray for Christians in Eritrea that are suffering severe persecution at the hands of the government.


Pray for Christians in Morocco in the midst of stepped-up persecution from the government and the Muslim community.


Pray for Christians in Egypt who suffer persecution from the government and their Muslim families. Pray for an awakening of Jesus Christ and His love for all of them.


Pray for Christians throughout the world to hold fast to their faith and be a light to those who are caught up in the misguided allegiance to a belief that strengthens only the darkness.
